2010 Outstanding Citizen Award
The Basehor Chamber of Commerce is again seeking nominations for the 2010
“Outstanding Citizen Award” to be presented at the Basehor July 4th Celebration.
The award was first give in 1989 and has been given annually ever since. Last years recipient was Carl Slaugh.
The winner of the Outstanding Citizen Award is determined by the Board of Directors of the Basehor Chamber of Commerce. The nominee should be a resident of Basehor or the Basehor area, who has contributed to the betterment of the Basehor Community.
Nominations for this award may be submitted by individuals or sponsored by a civic organization. The person making the nomination should sign the nomination form. If more space is required, an additional sheet of paper may be used. All entries should either be typed or printed clearly. We will notify the person or organization who nominates this year’s recipient prior to the 4th of July celebration and ask that they assist in making arrangements for the nominee to be present to accept the award without letting them know they have been chosen for the award.
ENTRY DEADLINE IS JUNE 23, 2010.
Nomination forms may be picked up at Basehor Community Library, Citizens Savings & Loan, First State Bank and Trust in Basehor, Community National Bank in Basehor or Basehor City Hall.
