​Leavenworth County Development Corporation (LCDC) is a public-private, not-for-profit (501c6) established in 1982. Our mission is to facilitate the creation and retention of jobs and capital investment in Leavenworth County. We are funded by the cities of Basehor, Lansing, Leavenworth and Tonganoxie, Leavenworth County, Leavenworth County Port Authority, and approximately 70 private sector investors. LCDC is governed by a 27-member board and is staffed by Steve Jack, Executive Director, Lisa Haack, Economic Development Coordinator, and Mary Mack, Office Manager.
